Hospital stay and recovery

How is it different from vaginoplasty?

The external appearance and sensation are equivalent. The difference is that vulvoplasty does not create a vaginal canal, so it does not allow vaginal penetration, but it avoids dilation and shortens recovery.

Is sensation and the ability to orgasm preserved?

Yes. The clitoris is built from the glans keeping its nerves, just as in vaginoplasty.

Could I have a vaginoplasty later on?

It is possible, though more complex, because the skin has already been used and grafts or a colon flap are usually needed. If you are unsure, discuss it in consultation before deciding.

What requirements do I need?

What it involves
