The most common incision is in the inframammary fold, with the implant in a subpectoral or dual plane, which gives a more natural upper transition when there is little breast tissue of your own.

Relative rest for 24-48 hours, a post-surgical bra for 4-6 weeks and back to work in about a week (depending on activity). Impact sport from 4-6 weeks.

How long should I be on hormones before surgery?

At least 12 months of hormone therapy is generally recommended, so that your own breast development has stabilised and the result is planned on your definitive anatomy.

Will it be obvious I have implants?

The goal is that it will not. The right choice of size, base and plane, adapted to the chest, is the key to a natural result both visually and to the touch.

Do implants need replacing?

They have no fixed expiry date, but we recommend regular check-ups. Current implants can last 15-20 years or more without complications.

Can I combine it with other surgeries?
